There are two kinds of cartridges for printer Lexmark Optra S: low- and high-yield. The weel features precision windows around the perimeter that are read with an optical sensor, telling the printer the identification of the cartridge as either a lower or higher capacity type, and delivering feedback to the printer´s firmware indicating the approximate print pages remaining in the cartridge.
