What is dictated the necessity of purchase of liquid?
Rotating the light sensitive drum )OPC drum) comes into conflict with cleaning slat (Wiper blade) - which removes from the surface of the drum reminders of the toner. Reminders are accumulated in the "waste bin". Accumulated toner is not fit for second use because it loses its electrostatic characteristics. The biggest problem during exploitation both cleaning slat (Wiper blade) and light sensitive drum (OPC drum) is the friction between those elements. Lubrificating liquid will cause friction decreasing which will cause the drum and the slat exploitation increasing. Costs of whole cartridge refilling also decrease. This liquid has very good characteristics. Was tested by western companies which are pleased with the quality of the product.
In case of liquid use we should proceed according to following procedure:
1) Acquaint with producer recommendations in the BHP matter.
2) Clean the slat Wiper blade. Make sure if the cloth used fro slat cleaning id wet enough. If it is dry, its usage may cause the slat edges damaging (especially silicone layer).
3) Take the bottle and directly before use you should shake strongly. Next press the applicator (placed inside the screw top). Around the internal edge the excess of solution will appear, which we remove.
4) Using applicator spread the solution along the Wiper blade slat on the both sides. It is recommended to spread the solution only in one direction. We assume that we spread the liquid from left to right. Not complying with those recommendations may cause solution flaking and in consequences we receive vertical trails on printouts. During drying, it is very important to put the slat in the way making possible to pipe away the excess of the liquid from the blade through the metal part of the slat. It is necessary to shake the bottle on average 15 minutes during liquid use. If you don´t use the liquid the bottle must be tightly closed in case of substance evaporating preventing.
5) After putting the solution on the slat, wait 2 hours until it dries. After those period of time we can install the slat in the cartridge. In case of not complying with those requirements, solution reminders may spread on the light sensitive drum. The solution will dry after certain time and it may cause light sensitive drum (OPC drum) damaging.
