Felt wand

It removes all contaminations depositing on the fuser roller (commonly called the heater). Those contaminaitons are from the toner (powder) and come into being as a result of printing process. The wand is a cleaning element and definitely affects on the improvement of printout quality. It is not a standard in all laser printers. It is used in some versions.
Principle of working:
During printing process there is an stage, when the toner is fixed on the paper. It is made during thermal processing. Usually when the sheet of paper passes through between the fuser roller and the pressure roller. Felt wand removes contaminaitons, which appeared during thermal processing and were on the fuser roller.
Used in laser printers.
