3G Jet Opaque transfer paper is used to transfer inkjet prints to dark blank substrates using heat. A4 thermal transfer paper with a grammage of 150 g/m2 for an inkjet printer produces realistic, aesthetic prints on cotton and synthetic fabrics: black and dark T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, hats, scarves, flags, banners. Paper also works well on harder objects (wood, artificial leather, mouse pads) - before making the actual transfer, test the heating by increasing the transfer temperature.

Hot transfer (printing) paper for inkjet printers works well with all transfer presses, but it also works well as an iron-on transfer. 3G Jet Opaque paper sheets are a specialized medium, allowing to achieve a professional effect also at home - all you need is an inkjet printer, an iron and a dark background, and the original iron-on transfer will be ready. Using it, you can also successfully make for example, name tags for a preschooler's clothes.

Printing instructions:
  • Insert a sheet of 3G Jet Opaque paper into the printer so that the print occurs on the white, smooth side of the paper (without grid)
  • Print the selected motif (photo, logo, inscription, other graphics) legibly, i.e. without the mirror effect
  • Cut off any unprinted, unnecessary pieces of paper
Instructions for heating with a transfer press
  • Place a T-shirt or other dark medium on the press plate; remove creases and moisture, before you start heating, iron the item in the press for a few seconds
  • Remove the layer of shipping paper from underneath
  • Place the printed paper with the motif side up on the T-shirt Place a sheet of protective silicone paper on the paper - e.g. Matt Finish or Antistick support paper
  • Start the transfer with the following parameters: temperature: 180oC, heating time: 30 seconds, pressure: medium
  • After opening the press, allow the fabric to cool and then remove the iron-on paper in a continuous, steady motion at as little an angle as possible.
  • TIP: We recommend washing the T-shirt with thermal application 24 hours at the earliest. after heating, preferably in hand wash mode, at 30oC on the left side. Do not use bleach, iron also on the left side.
Instructions for heating with an iron:
  • Preheat the iron to the highest temperature and be sure to turn off the steam function; it is not recommended to use tourist (travel) irons
  • Prepare a hard, stable surface on which you will iron the decoration - give up the ironing board because it is too soft
  • To remove wrinkles and moisture from the T-shirt, iron the fabric
  • Remove the layer of shipping paper from underneath Place the thermal transfer paper in the selected location with the print side up
  • Cover the paper with a sheet of protective silicone paper, such as Matt Finish or Antistick support paper
  • Using two hands, firmly iron the entire surface of the paper, first moving the iron vertically (up - down) for 90 seconds, then horizontally (left - right) for 90 seconds.
  • When applying your iron-on transfer, remember to heat the entire application evenly, including the corners and edges; Be careful not to move or bend the T-shirt or paper
  • Wait for the fabric to cool down and, starting from the corner, remove the paper from the T-shirt with a steady, steady movement. Ironing done - home thermal application completed!
  • TIP: For smaller applications, remember to appropriately reduce the heating time to 45 seconds vertically and 45 seconds horizontally. For graphics whose surface is smaller than the surface of the iron's heating plate, use a heating time of 30 seconds.
