Powder – DTF Adhesive with Antistatic Effect
The polyurethane powder adhesive has been developed to ensure maximum convenience and stable performance in production environments. During the formulation stage, special antistatic additives were already incorporated, significantly reducing powder adhesion to electrostatically charged surfaces such as PET films used in DTF technology.
During production processes, PET films often become electrically charged due to contact with line components such as rollers, guides, and worktables. This effect becomes even more pronounced in winter, when air humidity is low. With standard adhesives, this leads to uncontrolled powder attraction in unwanted areas, especially around fine details, which negatively affects coating uniformity and complicates production.
Our adhesive effectively eliminates this issue, ensuring precise and clean powder application only where it is needed.
Maintaining air humidity at a level of 40–50% reduces the issue of PET film becoming electrostatically charged, and thus reduces powder buildup on the edges of the graphic.
After opening, the DTF adhesive should be stored tightly closed in a dry place.
Key features:
- Uniform surface coverage – the adhesive is applied exactly where intended
- Antistatic properties – reduced adhesion to electrically charged PET films
- Stable year-round production – independent of humidity conditions
- Reduced contamination – less powder buildup on machines and production line elements
- Higher production efficiency – fewer stoppages and cleaning cycles
- High user comfort – easy and predictable application
