1 mm Silicone Mat for a Mug Heat Press
The flexible silicone pad is designed for use with mug heat presses as well as flat heat presses.
Key features of the silicone pad for heat transfer presses:
- Acts as a thermal barrier between the mug and the press heating element, limiting the direct impact of the heat source on the mug surface and supporting even temperature transfer during the heat transfer process.
- Absorbs very little heat, ensuring fast and efficient heat transfer during the printing process.- The silicone mat provides a uniform distribution of heat and pressure as well as close contact between the design and the surface, resulting in a more precise and durable transfer while helping to reduce colour bleeding.
- The pads help compensate for surface irregularities of the substrate being decorated, ensuring better contact between the heating element and the mug. The 1 mm thick silicone mat is the thinnest version, designed primarily for standard mugs with a smooth, even surface.
- The product is resistant to high temperatures (up to 200°C) and intensive use in heat transfer presses.
- The mat is also suitable for very thin, flat and flexible items where fast heat penetration is required.
