Software

The Silhouette Cameo 5 Alpha works with Silhouette Studio software, which must be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website after purchasing the device. The program is used for designing and preparing projects for cutting.

The free version allows users to:

• Use ready-made designs from the Silhouette Design Store
• Create their own designs using available tools
• Work with fonts installed on the computer
• Vectorize simple raster files

The software is available in Polish and English and supports the following file formats: .png, .jpeg, .bmp, .gif, and .tiff. It also works with graphic programs such as CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator (optional paid integration).

To ensure proper operation of Silhouette Studio, the following system requirements are needed:
