      Product description

Multi-Trans Metallic is a transfer paper for printing customized or personalized Metallic images and text onto hard and smooth surfaces such as Mugs, Glass, Metal or similar

All you have to do is print a single-color black image onto the metallic coated paper and press it to your chosen application, using the recommended settings

Multi-Trans Metallic was developed to customize hard surface products with gold, silver or bronze, without investing in expensive equipment

This product allows you to print single-color black images onto any colored hard and smooth surface. The results produce a high quality and exclusive metallic look

Multi-Trans Metallic requires the use of a standard monochrome (black & white) or CMYK laser printer to create high-quality, very exclusive metallic transfer prints in Gold, Silver & Bronze

            Characteristics:

            • paperweight 140 g/m2
            • paper without a background
            • versatile application possibilities
            • fast and cost-effective production
            • high quality effects
            • suitable for monochrome, CMYK- and CMYW laser printers
            • no cutting and no weeding thanks to 1-paper-system

              • 180 seconds
              • high pressure

               - Application settings:

              • pre-heat your Mug Press before use
              • position and fix the printed image to the mug using a heat resistant tape
              • cover the transfer with a 1mm silicone pad
              • place the mug in the press
              • press by using the settings
              • IMPORTANT: The timer of the mug press should not start until the mug has reached the set temperature. If your press does not do this automatically, increase the press time to 4 minutes!
              • cool the mug down by dipping into cold water. Make sure the transfer media is soft before peeling. ATTENTION: At this point, the mug is very hot. Take precautions when moving the mug
              • transfer paper residue can be removed with isopropanol

                Glass and metal transfer settings:

                • 135°C / 275°F
                • high pressure

                 -  Application settings:

                • Set the temperature of the Heat Press to 200°C / 392°F
                • Pre-heat your heat press before use
                • Position and fix the printed image to the application using a heat resistant tape
                • Place the sensor of a digital thermometer between the substrate and the transfer
                • Cover the transfer with a 2.5mm silicone pad.
                • after closing the press, transfer the print until the temperature on the thermometer display reaches 135°C
                • Cool the surface down by dipping into cold water. Make sure the transfer media is soft before separating. ATTENTION: At this point, the application is very hot. Be careful when moving the application
                • transfer paper residue can be removed with isopropanol

                Transfer Settings for Ceramic Tiles:

                • 200°C / 392°F
                • High pressure

                 -  Application settings:

                • It is recommended to use a 1 mm thin silicone mat instead of a standard silicone mat.
                • The pressing time should be adjusted according to the actual temperature of the tile surface.
                • The press should remain closed until the tile surface reaches approximately 160–170°C.
                • For accurate temperature monitoring, we recommend using a digital thermometer with a wired probe, positioned between the tile and the press.
                • Multi-Trans Metallic should only be removed after the tile has cooled completely!
                • Removing the material immediately after pressing may affect the quality of the transferred design.
                • Once the ceramic tile has cooled completely, moisten the paper backing with water.
                • Only when the tile is completely cold and the paper backing has been thoroughly soaked and softened should it be carefully removed to avoid damaging the transferred design.

General Transfer Guidelines for Hard Substrates:

                  • The transfer area should be clean before fixing the transfer. The natural oil from our hands can cause unpredictable transfer results
                  • Print transfer using a high temperature thermometer allows you to get the same results over multiple prints
