Flex foil is a very popular material in thermal transfer. Flex for heat transfer are cut on a cutting plotter and then applied to the selected base using a temperature and press. There are a lot of kinds of films: metallic, glitter, varnished, neon, reflective, structured and more.

  • The flex foil with a reflective effect is made of high-quality polyurethane foil, coated on one side with a strong adhesive (the adhesive is thermally activated - for the transfer press service)
  • Foil is with an adhesive backing that facilitate its cutting on a plotter
  • Flex foils are thin, flexible and stretchable thanks to that they work with fabric after the heating - comfortable to wear
  • Flex is a durable, resistant material for thermal transfer - it doesn't wash off, doesn't crack, doesn't fade
  • The foil is suitable for heat transfer for a lot of materials: cotton, polyester, polyester - acrylic

Application manual:
  • Cut the selected pattern on the plotter in a mirror image, you should cut the foil without a transparent polyester spacer
  • Select the unnecessary pieces of foil
  • Place the foil on a T-shirt, vest or other medium and heat it for 12 seconds at 150-160oC with medium pressure
  • Remove the clear transport foil while it is hot (immediately after opening the press)
  • Iron the pattern again for approx. 5 seconds using the silicone support paper Matte Finish or AntiStick
