The flexible working mat helps ensure even heat distribution, uniform pressure and close contact between the transfer design and the substrate, resulting in more precise and durable transfers. Its excellent non-stick properties help prevent materials from sticking and make the mat easier to clean.
The silicone-coated press pad is resistant to high temperatures (up to 230°C) and high pressure, allowing it to maintain its properties during intensive use with heat transfer presses.
The silicone pad absorbs a moderate amount of heat while helping distribute temperature evenly across the working surface. The silicone-coated fibreglass fabric also offers abrasion resistance, good chemical resistance and electrical insulation properties.
The heat transfer mat helps improve print quality while reducing the risk of product damage caused by pressure, such as cracking ceramic tiles or glass sublimation blanks.
Applications of the Silicone Mat in Heat Transfer Printing:
Garments with seams and raised features – T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, caps and cotton bags with pockets, pleats, buttons or zippers. The 5 mm thickness helps raise the print area above protruding elements, making it easier to achieve adequate pressure where the design is applied.
Flat promotional and decorative products – mouse pads, puzzles, wooden signs, MDF boards, cork items and table mats. The mat provides a practical working surface for personalising products used in advertising, decoration and promotional gift production.
Materials of varying thicknesses – aluminium sublimation sheets, ceramic tiles, magnets and selected leather and faux leather products. The flexible structure helps accommodate differences in substrate height and reduce uneven pressure caused by variations in surface level.
