Flex films are a very popular material used in heat transfer applications. Flex heat transfer films are cut on a cutting plotter and then applied to the chosen substrate using a heat press. Depending on the film properties and the desired final effect, there are many types of flex films: standard, metallic, glitter, glossy, neon, reflective, textured, and more.

Garments and other items decorated with flex film are comfortable to wear and easy to maintain. They can be hand washed or machine washed on a delicate cycle at temperatures up to 40°C, inside out. We recommend reducing or skipping spin cycles and ironing inside out.

Application Instructions

• Cut the film at a 45° blade angle
• Place the design directly on the right side of the fabric
• Press the motif onto the fabric with a heated press for 10 seconds
• Application temperature: 140°C
• Pressure: Firm/strong
• Carrier removal: Warm peel
• Gently remove the carrier and check whether the application adheres properly (if not, repeat pressing)

Important: Puff film is not suitable for application with a household iron — a heat press is required.

Note: Results with Puff film may vary depending on fabric type, design size and complexity, as well as temperature, pressure, and pressing time. We recommend testing on the specific material before production.
