Metallic Puff Flex Film with 3D Effect
Flex films are a very popular material used in heat-transfer decoration. Heat-transfer flex films are cut on a cutting plotter and then applied to the chosen fabric using a heat press. Depending on the film’s properties and the desired final look, there are many types of flex films available: standard, metallic, glitter, lacquered, neon, reflective, textured, and others.
Puff Heat-Transfer Film
Thickness: 150 m
Dimensions: 50 cm × 1 m
Metallic puff films feature a metallic surface and a special “puffing” effect that activates during heat pressing, increasing the film’s thickness up to three times — to approximately 500 microns. This makes them an excellent choice when you want to add eye-catching, three-dimensional details to cotton, synthetic, blended, and elastic fabrics.
Flex film is a durable and resistant heat-transfer material — it does not wash out, crack, or fade.
It can also be combined with other flex films, allowing you to create unique layered effects.
Thanks to its excellent opacity, flex film can be applied to fabrics of any color, both light and dark.
Garments and accessories decorated with flex film are comfortable to wear and easy to maintain — they can be washed by hand or in a washing machine on a delicate cycle, up to 30°C, turned inside out.
We recommend reducing the spin speed or turning it off completely, and ironing on the reverse side.
Application Instructions
- Cut the film using a 45° blade
- Weed excess material and place the design directly on the right side of the fabric
- Heat press pressure: high
- First press: 140°C for 5 seconds
- Wait 8–10 seconds
- Peel the carrier sheet cold
- Second press: 140°C for 15 seconds
- Puff film cannot be applied with a household iron — a heat press is required
Note: Puff results may vary depending on the type of fabric, the size and complexity of the design, and the temperature, pressure, and press time. We recommend testing the film on your specific material before full application.
